i have sent my paper on Friday may20th but now i need my passport on june 3rd .. what should i do .. do i call the embassy or just wait a few more days ???

Hello..can I asked something?I am from Greece and I applied for uk visa because I have Indian nationality!and the problem is I want to go uk 15th April and i scared..:( i applyed on 10 April and I send the money..now I have to go in the embassy..what they want to asked me???I want to go for 2 weeks!!!

@Ned – I have got all of my original document back along with my passport with a visa stamped. I have chosen USPS express mail with signature confirmation so that my documents get to me on time and remain safe. Thanks

Hello everyone,

Hope this is still active. When you guys sent in your documents, can you get the originals back? Or do they take / confiscate everything and just give you back your passport with the visa???

I am very nervous about the fact that I won’t be able to get any original documents back!!!!

Hello Sonal.
I applied at LA and sent my documents on the 15th and got an email on the 21st Nov. However I still have not heard anything. i am scheduled to fly on the 17th Dec – and am now FREAKING out.
please let me know if you hear anything.

Hi,

I am not sure if this link is still working. I applied for a UK visitors visa recently. Sent my documents on Nov 18, and after receiving a acknowledgement of receipt of my documents on Nov 27 I have heard nothing about my application. I was supposed to fly out on Dec 3 but postponed my trip to Dec 10.

Are other people experiencing huge delays with their Visas? Please share.

Iam in the same situation .I submitted my Applications in the beginning of September .On the second day I received aconfirmation of receiving it then after two weeks they told me they begun processing my case ,Till now no news one month pass no reply .I try all means to get to some one to reply but in vain ..Iam in abig urgent need to my passport now ..Idont know if some one like me ? Is there any way to get my passport back? please write

Submitted my application in late august. Got an email confirmation on the last day of August. Then that’s it…. i haven’t heard anything back from them SO FAR! tried every single methods listed above…. so desperate! trying to see if anybody got similar situation now….or it’s just me so bad lucky…
