I love my D40, D40x D60 does not provide the image quality and features that Nikon D40 provides with such low price. The only that could be improved is the megapixels… to get bigger prints … but still i love it so MUCH

Thanks… i was looking for a decent camera for my photography class but i was not able to afford expensive Canon and was really depressed that all my class fellows have canon. I did not wanted to buy pentax or olympus .. after reading the review i have made up my mind to buy this wonderful camera. I have checked that at local wallmat and it seems perfect in hand…

Ahh…Thanks for summing it up in one camera as mostly reviews describe two cameras and i was getting confuse which one to buy. This review truly convinced me to buy this Nikon D40 for my fist SLR camera. Thank you so much for posting it
