BlackBerry Curve 8900 Javelin Cons / Disadvantages:

  1. NO 3G support (most of the users have complained about this).
  2. Up to 356 hours of standby time and 5 hours talk time. Most of the users have complained about the battery time especially if it does not have 3G supports there is no reason for a poor battery life.
  3. No FM radio.

Overall this phone is great. 9 out of 10 users have voted it best Blackberry yet. Though it is 3G less GMS phone but still there are lots of improvement and great new features including the Wi-fi that most PDA phones are only offering with expensive cell phone. Its an excellent device for messaging and emailing. Browser has improved and very impressive. Browser will work fine with EDGE but will be slower as compare to 3G however you can always use WiFi where available. Overall, if 3G is not an issue with you then this is a must have Blackberry.
