  1. Both cameras are the high end digital cameras where canon Powershot G11 is almost $50 expensive than the Canon Powershot S90 announced at the same time.

  2. It seems like both cameras might have same features however there are few features in which S90 lacks like you can attach external flash with G11, can use remoter control with it and G11 does have an optical viewfinder. S90 does not have an optical viewfinder so you always need to view the LCD to take picture even in harsh light when LCD tends to darken.

  3. G11 has better optical zoom, and faster shooting speed as well + Canon
    G11 has better maximum shutter speed that really helps taking picture in day
    or hard light.

  4. The only this that might bother you is that the canon Powershot G11 is bit bulky and heavy as well. the Canon S90 gives a slim camera look while the canon G11 weights almost equal to a SLR digital cameras with a smaller lens.

  5. If you are a person who would like to use a remote, external flash, viewfinder then go for G11 however if you just want a reliable high end digital camera that you can carry all the time then go for S90 that is almost $50 cheaper than the Canon G11.
