Thanks for the great article. This was exactly what we were looking for today. I read all the reviews on NewEgg and some other sites, but this was the info I really wanted to read up on. Looks like the S90 will be the winner for me. I replacing an older Canon point and shoot with something that can support RAW formats.

You failed to mention the most important difference. The S90 has an f2 max aperture and the G11 has an f2.8. The S90 is one full stop faster. This will help with low light pictures and controlling the depth of field.
