Nice comparison made….as when buying a camera with similar megapixels its always difficult and specially when price is almost same. The camera Sony DSC-W150 is the best choice…
its features are easy to handle. Any non technical person can operate this camera in Easy Mode. Even the Auto mode is able to handle well. Recommended.

DSC-S780 is the new additions to the Cyber-Shot S-series. this camera is only 1-inch thick, so slim camera with an internal memory of 22MB. This is an entry level camera with Facial detection of up to three people and seven pre-set scene modes

W150 is definitely recommended due to its zoom and its LCD quality and shape. Nice comparison made. I do not understand why companies release camera that are so similar and it always difficult to make decision which one to buy
