If you have activated the voice mail service on your phone then you can listen to your voice mail from any number is the whole world. Yes I have tried that by my self from many numbers, when I was not in country and out of town I needed to listen to the voice mail of my home number and I did it several time.

Method of Listening to voice mail from other number

  1. If you want to listen to the voice mail of your home number dial your home number from any other number, even from the cell phone you have.
  2. Let the bells ring like you are calling your own number until the phone go to the voice mail, of if it immediately go on voice mail and you hear the message of “The person is not available to take your call” etc just press the * button on your phone
  3. after a seconds or two it will welcome you in the voice mail service or will simple ask you to enter your pin code.
  4. you will enter your pin or pass code and it will let you listen to all of your voice mails like you are listening them from your own phone
    you can try to listen to your cell phone voice mails from your home phone as well, like I said I have tried it many times and I am always successful

How much does it cost

It will cost you the same as like you are calling your number and you charge normally for that number because its like you are recording a voice mail on someone else number and you are charged for that call. No extra or hidden charges so far noticed.

Note: That is the reason why it is strongly recommended you to always protect your voice mail with a pass code or else it can be listened by any one in this whole world.
