Slower shutter is the answer, for newbie, set your shutter speed on ATV (Shutter Priority Mode) in Camera in which you can manually set the shutter to desired speed, its better if you have a tripod handy because if you don’t your picture might get blurred. I have tried while hand holding my camera and got perfect shots at 1/15 seconds but my lens had Image Stabilization.
If you do not have a tripod then try lowering the speed upto the level when pictures are starting to get blurred. You will see the fall effect mesmerizing with slower shutter speeds.
I would love to use a circular polarizer filter to enhance the color of the sky and clouds.
