Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT VS Nikon D50

Please find a brief comparison of Canon Rebel XT (350D) & Nikon D50.

* In users point of view canon DSLR’s are always preferred due to its design functionality and quality along with Canon lens and accessory selection.
* Canon Rebel Xt is 8 Megapixles camera where as Nikon D50 is 6 MP camera. that allows us to risk less for grainy images at higher ISO speeds.
* Canon Rebel XT use high capacity Micro drives storage media that are Compact Flash II However Nikon D50 uses Secure Digital memory cards that do not store much data.
* Nikon D50’s CCD is physically larger than Rebel XT’s CMOS sensor that will result in low-noise pictures.

Conclusion: After the analysis of both DSLR’s cameras we have came to conclusion that the differences between Both cameras are minimal as each DSLR have its own strong points. Both cameras are, somewhat technically similar, Both have a maximum ISO setting of 1600. The Mega pixels and price of Canon Digital Rebel are more than the Nikon D50 however the availability and prices of extra lenses is almost same.
