  1. Nikon S9100 is almost $100 cheaper than Canon S95 but still offers better zoom, 18x zoom is too good to capture nature if you are fond of it. If you make more movies in camera than it offers high resolution movies which can be views in big screen televisions easily. Its wide angle is slightly wider so better to take landscapes and group photos, it can take closer macro photos.
  2. Canon is $100 expensive however with Canon S95 you can take pictures like DSLR cameras in RAW format and it also supports shutter priority and aperture priority modes. Its sensor is bigger and its better in low light conditions due to the f/2.0 aperture.
